My 06 IS250 RWD has stock 205/55/16 tires & wheels. Changing to 20' inch wheels will increase the tire OD by 6%. I have been warned that this could cause brake failure and/or problems with the stability control system. Is this a confirmed problem? How have others compensated for this problem?
how did you get 16" wheels??

One of the things that sold me on the 1st Gen IS was a Road&Track (??) article where the writer stated that, in their testing, the IS out braked every Ferrari they had ever tested save for one. I was wondering if the 2nd Gen was as good?

Sorry for the bump, but I just want to see if I can get a little clarification...
So if you have two wheels - one 18" and one 19" - that are both the same weight, and the same width and everything... There is absolutely NO performance advantage for the 19" wheels over the 18" wheels?
