what is the difference in appearance from 6000 and 8000 .. is the 8000 more blue? im looking for a blueish white, so if the 8000 is more blue i guess the 6000 would be what im looking for?

if you want some white i would suggest the 6000k. Nice combination of blue hue and useable white light.

I was contemplating on getting these JDM toy D4S bulbs. Do you know if the bulbs are actually made in Japan? Does it say "made in Japan"? If it does, then I'll definitely get a set of 6000K to match my 6500K Xenon Depot foglights. I'm not liking the stock yellow 4300K light output. The only thing that I'm concern with these bulbs is their long term reliability. Will they burn out after a few months?

had philips XenEco D4S bulbs in my 2010 when i bought it. swapped them out for Lunex Ultra Platinum 8k's. theres definately something to be said for reasonable quality HID bulbs vs the cheaper chinese ones. used cheaper stuff in previous cars when doing HID retrofits. went up a little in bulb quality since my current 2is has factory HID's and im definately pleased with the Lunex bulbs and price vs the really high end stuff.
