I too am in Toronto (Markham actually) and I changed mine over two weeks ago and have had no regrets. I don't know what it is but 16" steelies with hub caps just don't work on our cars. I feel like a 400 pound guy who just got some lipo. I am much more confident now when I am out and notice the extra attention from the ladies. haha

I hear you. I have been wanting to take them off for quite some time now. I can't stand how they look. But since I am still waiting for my G-Spyders I figure I will just wait another week. Then I will just put those on. Then next Winter the stock 17" rims will be my winter tires and I will sel my steel rims.

Glad I left my Blizzarks on, as after some really nice spring type weather the last week, they are calling for 20cm of snow tonight and I have to travel quite a bit Saturday....St. Patricks day, and have to do my visiting....of course my IS will be sitting in the garage tomorrow night, and me taking a taxi....no explanation required!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....but, just the same, am Irish and my new girlfriend was raised in Irland....so PARTY TIME....and maybe a boiled dinner.

I just took off my winter tires, and put back the stock dunlop sport tires. I can't belive the difference. The Dunlop tires are way stiffer then my winter tires, and you can really feel it in the feedback you get from the road. The car handles much better, but you also feel every bumb more. Anyone else experience this?

I'm itching to take mine off. But I'm still worried about 30 degree weather at night.

Dont need to. Local weather already shows the temp dropping to the 30's at night for some days. I don't feel comfortable to get back onto the summers until its consistently above 40.

Yeah, I wouldn't be changing back to summer tires until it is above 40 for a few weeks.

Default ahh well...

I'm here in Chicago... put my summer tires w/ g-spyders back on last friday... I'm not sweating the snow coming back.... besides... didn't the Gorerical say during the committee hearings that earth is a baby with a fever? Might as well ride out in style.

My summers are going back on tomorrow morning...I can't wait! BTW, I'm in Pittsburgh...hopefully no more snow, as I live on top of a large hill!

Frank (Purdue),

Why are you even in this forum? Your 1991 ES 300 is hardly a second generation ISxxx.

Perhaps you should take a step back, view your situation as a whole, and understand that it's OK to be who you are. There's no need to show such aggression towards others.

Couldn't wait any longer. 18's and summers are back on. Feels nice to be riding on performance rubber again, although the ride seems stiff now. I'm sure it'll wear off after a week or two.

That is exatly how I felt. I love the way the car handles now, but it does feel a little stiff.
