Default close call from hail damage....

Just got my car last Friday and as I was leaving from work yesterday, it poured down like crazy. Later on found out that there was a hail storm some few miles away from where I was driving. Would have been one sad mo fro.

Yeah we got it pretty bad at my office (by Love Field). Luckily we have a parking garage, cuz I definitely would have had some hail damage.

I park in a garage at work and at home. The only time it sees daylight on weekdays is to and from work about 45 mins each way. That would have been real f* up to get hail damage from within that small time frame.

Yeah, when I saw the storm was coming, I went straight home to get her into covered parking ASAP, heh.

Luckily I don't think the hail was all that widespread. Woulda been a shame if we had a buncha Lexis coming to the meet this weekend all banged up. ;-)

Although I don't think the crappy weather is over just yet, so maybe I shouldn't speak too soon...

I headed home while the clouds were rolling in where I work (Forest and LBJ) so I fortunately got home before the rain/hail came. Still not used to this TX weather. Hail damage was something I never worried about until now (I'm from CA, SF bay).

When we moved here last August, it was 105F. This was during the time where it was 100+ for 30something straight days or so. Everyone tells me that this wasn't normal.... not sure I believe them....
