hmmmm....i think he is refering to the long beach drift competition, 1st round. It is in Long Beach from 10 am - 5 pm. Wow, didn't know there was going to be a is350....

"New cars will enter the field and leading the way will be 2-time Champion Samuel Hubinette defending his title in a new Mopar Dodge Charger, while 2005 Champion Rhys Millen will drive a new Red Bull Pontiac Solstice. Other notable new cars this season include a Lexus IS 350, Corvette Z06, and Porsche 911."

"Lexus is rumored to be looking to place an IS350 into the Formula D series in 2008. Lexus had a brief appearance in Formula D in 2005 with James Bondurant, but pulled out halfway through the season.
Cadillac is also rumored to be looking to convert one or more of their old SCCA Speed World Challenge cars into drift machines. Details on both deals are vague at best, but are definately something to watch for in the coming months."
