Ya, but in my case, I have to take a whole day off to drive to the Lexus dealer for the repair, and I could think of better things to be doing if I am out of the office for a day.

You are lucky ReLexin, I bought my IS350 through a local Toyota dealer, because 2 hr. drive to the nearest Lexus dealer. In fact, the last time I scheduled a repair, they wanted me at the dealership at 9am, and I was pretty much going to have to go to Toronto the night before and stay at my folks condo....because I would have had to deal with morning traffic, which could have easily slapped another hour on my travel time....which would have required me to get up around 5am to wake up enough to hit the road… I am not a morning person….go to sleep at 2am and wake at 9am. Unfortunately, the Toyota dealer will not touch warranty problems.
