i think smoked out lights are cars whom cry for attention. A.D.D.

red outs are ok...

but i rather leave 'em stock!

Redouts really make the rear look very clean. Smoked gives off a slightly different, less elegant look, but a lot sportier, I guess. Depends what you want.

if someone had a pic of smoked tail lights for SGM, it would probably help. I honestly think that smoked with SGM would look bad since there is very little color contrast.

Any pics out there?

When the IS-F does come out, I can only imagine the cost to replace the tail lights to those will be upwards of $600-$1000 just ball parking.

Get some red outs for the time being, it'll cost you a whole $10-$15.

When you do the red outs do you have to be careful when washing the tail lights? like will they come off easily

I personally have had no problem with this issue.

I'm glad you mentioned CONTRAST. I have a Breakwater Blue IS250 with smoked tails from Aerotect. IMO it looks good. Will post some pics either tomorrow or this weekend.

where is the poll option for neither?

I'd say you guys do it right and pop open those suckers and use the clear red spray tint on the amber portion and seal em back up...REAL red, not stickers

here's smoked on black onyx (color matched, not necessarially smoked )... smoked taillights just adds a grayscale hue to the lights.
--notice they are as glossy as my paint. no opaque (from melted plastic) look
