yah, but its just a matter of time before i get a ticket for them being so dark.
i was thinking of putting some of those LED 194 bulbs with a square grid of LED's inside the rear reflectors (at the bottom of the bumper), and have them connected to my ignition hot, so they are on all the time when i am driving...
this will make it so i am always projecting/reflecting light to everyone behind me, and be a good way to keep from getting the no reflector ticket.
here's smoked on black onyx (color matched, not necessarially smoked )... smoked taillights just adds a grayscale hue to the lights.
--notice they are as glossy as my paint. no opaque (from melted plastic) look
That looks too dark. Here's mine taken indoor (garage)..... cloudy outside but will post another pic when the sun is out.
mine looks exactly like yours is4sfr, a nice deep dark cherry red. I had red-outs the first six months i had the car, but i eventually decided to just smoke the lights.
red outs.....I just did it and am 100% happy with the results...Now I always want to approach my car from the back because it looks so damn good...I recommend to everyone....plus they look more subtle than smoked taillights...
