I like the smoke but it will decrease the braking lights output right? And the red out look good in all color IMO...

Smoke-outs definitely do decrease the light's brightness...I've noticed that people brake faster and closer behind my car after I got them.

Maybe I'm just thinking it's the smoke-outs? I dunno.

If you want the luxurious look, definitely get the red-outs. It's really handsome.

When Fransisco at Aerotect put red-outs on my car, I was <--> this close to just getting the red-outs and scrap the smoke-outs.

I got the red outs at Aerotect and got a quick snap of the difference with and without them for those of you still wondering...

are the tail lights LED? They don't look like they are but I figured I'd ask just to get a confirmation

I'm gonna have to go with the poll option you forgot to offer: "neither"

I like my tails just the way they are.

Has anyone considered red out the clear portion as well?

How do you think it would look with tails all red?

it would look fine, until you shift in reverse at night and try to back up ... with no white lights to see behind you it could get a little dangerous. I think somebody just posted up photos of his tails in all red for a car show, hope he has a 2nd set to actually drive around with. Good luck with that.

Red it out clearly looks clean and better. Stock look without the ugly amber.

I think the only problem with the car is the taillights, so when i get mine (after waiting for the custom order for 3.5 months) on friday i am definitely going with the red out. QUESTION, though, is there no way to get the clear taillights, like you always see on the RX? i guess not since part of the taillight is on the trunk, but i am surprised i havent heard anyone mention this through out the forums?!
