ok well my car came with the factory HID kit... and before the D4S bulbs weren't available in 6000 and 8000k. But now I notice that they are and i was thinking of going with the 8000k. I don't think that it would void my warranty I just want to make sure.

Also I wanted to change out my fogs to HID also. I wanted to know how hard this was to do by myself considering I have never done so. If anyone could point me to a thread where there is are DIY instructions that would be helpfull.

Would anyone recommend going with the 6000K bulbs over the 8000k? I want a really blue look.

If you had a problem with your HID assembly specifically, they probably wouldn’t cover it (say it burnt some plastic or something). But it wouldn’t void the war on your tranny or anything

Even then, they have to prove it, you could put the old bulb back in and take it to get fixed.

take a look at my post maybe the 6000k is good enough for you. The only problem with 8000k as nice as they look is you start to give up brightness as you go higher in temp. At one point you have to decided how much color you want in sacraficing useable light.

thanks for all the help... but where can i get hid fog lights? i don't want to have the blue driving lights with the yellow fogs?
