Better late than never, maybe ..... Lexus Magazine

Ever since I bought my IS in August 2006 I had shown on my profile that I wanted to receive the Lexus magazine. I never received anything .... nada, zip, nothing. On February 20, 2007 I sent a note to Lexus Customer Service asking them to sort out the problem and to put me on the list. I received an auto reply immediately saying they would act on the email immediately. And then nothing. Then tonight, March 19th (4 weeks later) I get the following email from Lexus:
We apologize for the delay in response to your email. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service and as reflected with our tardy email response, we certainly did not meet the standards that we strive to uphold. We are taking measures to correct this and I hope that your future interactions with Lexus will reflect the high standards we try to maintain.
Thank you for contacting the Lexus Customer Satisfaction department regarding the Lexus Magazine. We did contact the subscription center on your behalf and requested the fourth quarter edition for 2006 and the first quarter edition for 2007. Our apologies for the delay in your receiving these publications. Please allow 7-10 business days for the magazine to arrive.
If you have questions about your subscription, please logon to the Lexus Owner’s Web site at www.lexus.com to update your subscription preferences.
If you require further assistance, please respond to this e-mail, or contact Lexus Customer Satisfaction at 1-800-255-3987, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Pacific Time.

Let's see if they have got it straightened out. But for a company that prides itself on impeccable customer service I find this magazine problem, which seems to be somewhat common, puzzling. It can't be that difficult to get someones name on the subscription list.

I wrote back in December and got a similar reply. They only sent one of the two back issues promised, and I've not received any new issues.

It took me almost a year of calling Lexus several times a month and asking the marketing fella @ the San Fran car show for the mag. I finally got the last edition two weeks ago.
I don't know why it was so hard, its just a mag..

Don't even waste your time trying so hard to get the magazine. It is the worst piece of crap I have ever seen in my life.
It talks about everything on the planet other than Lexus cars and Lexus products.
Why a car company would produce a magazine that does not talk about their products is beyond me. In the latest issue for example, there is a total of maybe 3 pages on the LS460 and half a page on the IS-F.
They should spend the money on something more useful than wasting it on this nonsense that they call a Lexus magazine.........

I requested it again 2 weeks ago. Still no reply. I have had my IS for 1 year next week. My mom has had her RX for 2 years and never received a magazine either. I thought it was automatically sent to you. I thought i was the only one with an issue...
