Don't shoot me if this is already on here somewhere. Thought this one could avoid cutting the wires.

Interesting.
It's similar to our nav hack, but instead of splitting/connecting wires, you just change the wires and plugs completely...
However, the biggest problem is getting to the back of the nav. As soon as you're there, you can either spend $1 on electrical tape and a wire cutter, or $100 on that plug...

I won't shoot you, but this company and its products have been discussed before. The coastal etech products (lockpick, et al.) are not listed as compatible with the 2IS on their application guides, nor have they announced a timetable as to when compatible products might be released.

tell me if i am wrogn but i thought thru reading the posts on here that the Nav hack wont work on the 07 model year anyway? i have been waiting to do mine because of this?
to answer your question i would spend the money this way i know i can unplug it and back to factory i am so they cant fight you so long they never knew about it.
if someone can PM me if this will or will not work on the 07 please!

I think THIS IS NOT WORKING ON IS350/250. I remember email coatal electronic and asked a while ago. They said that it is not compatible with the new IS. I asked them to email me when they have the product that is compatible for the new IS, but haven't received any yet....

The best solution which someone has to come up with is a mod to the "loading.kiw" file on the NAV disk that takes care of all of this.
