mind as well get a new set of aftermarket wheels?

$500 for the wheel?! you can get a whole new set (maybe add a little more?)

Where does insurance fit into this?

And don't some cities pay you back for pothole damage? I know my brother got that in Boston.

Yea.. I am going to go take pictures of the pothole, because I checked and it is still there and eating tires. haha. then ATTEMPT to file a claim with the city road dept. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
