Everyone knows black shows everything, especially in sunlight and its been pretty sunny the past few weeks here in NorCal. So I got this
and tried it out. Only put one layer on, thinking about a second, but here are some pics. my car finally looks good to me.

no I did it by hand, took about an hour, I'm no pro at this sort of thing. There are certainly some imperfections like some of it I didn't buff out right on the passenger door I think you can see, had to go over it again after I took the pics

Looks great, but if you did it by hand, the product likely has oils/fillers and just masked the swirls temporarily. From Pinnacle's website:
"The thick, blue cream polishes and fills to restore the finish to its former perfection."
If you're willing to reapply as needed, it'll keep filling them in. NXT and any number of other waxes/sealants will do this job as well. To truly remove the swirls you need an abrasive polish and either an orbital or rotary buffer. It took me hours to remove very light swirls with a porter cable buffer on my lexus, and they are MUCH more efficient than trying to do it by hand.
If you properly prep the car by polishing, and follow up with a good seant or wax (or both - always apply the sealant first), your car will absolutely glow. Pinnacle makes a fantastic wax called Souveran that makes black and red paint look amazing...you'd have to see it to truly understand. The stuff is expensive. I think I paid $60 for it, and it's now going for more than that, but it's worth every penny. The durability sucks though...a month at best in Florida.

Look out for the stealth mobile....
I waxed my Obsidian few days ago too but, I used Mcquires and it was pretty good too.
Do you guys feel like puking after washing/waxing your car?!?!? Coz, the last time I washed/waxed/cleaned rims, I felt like I was going to puke any min! Maybe it could've been because I didn't eat all day...??!?!
