Default supercharger on the 250

has any 250 owners considered or is it possible for the 350 supercharger to be applied to the 250.... just currious

what would be the problem.... too much boost for the compression or what....

would it be possible to run less boost and make it work.... or what....

dealing with the engine compression and direct injection are going to be issues. If you got the 5gs to drop, do it and be a test guinea pig for the 250.

Yea wonder if there's a turbo kit out there for the 250. I researched it and came up with nothing. Guess the focus is on the 350 now

I would bet you could sell your 250 and get a 350 with the 5-7g you would spend on a SC, so why would you want to do it?

I don't know about you guys but the way I see it is that most people who didn't buy the IS350 don't think they need all that power. Maybe that's what all the aftermarket performance products maker look at it too. The IS300 on the other hand came out with only one trim so they know there will be a market for their products. They won't spend money on R&D on products that they don't think they will profit from.

In a few years when my car has more miles and I 'm done paying it off I think I;m going to go in the motor and get lower compresion pistons and then definitley turbo it, but I'm hoping someone does it before me so I can learn from their mistakes.

yea i definatly know about being a guinea pig.... id rather learn from others mistakes as well..... im still going to look into it tho..... and as far as selling it for a 350.... yea itd be nice to have..... but for all the 250 owners whats the point. itll mean all of our 250 will continue to be slow with no power mods... all it will take is some money and nearves to open it up......
