Default For those who installed HID fogs by themself...Some help please

Not sure if i should have put this in the "Lighting Forum" since it's kind of car specific.

But...I recently purchased a Xtreme 3000k HID kit from Xenon Depot. The install was easy I was wondering though for those who installed it themselves...

Did you need to adjust the height of the beam any? I know for the headlights someone posted that they needed to adjust the low beams to see better... and they twisted the **** X amount of times... was just wondering if someone did the same for the fogs and how many times did you turn? driver side and passenger side.

if no one did it i guess i could adjust mine and tell everyone...

I didn't even know you could adjust the aim of the fogs. Would it matter since the HID is in a reflector and the light is super scattered anyway?

i saw a **** on each side that looks exactly like the one to adjust the low beams... so i'm only assuming that we could... i'm not positive but being that i couldn't find anything on it i'd figure i'd ask anyway...

looking at this guy's fog lights which also are xtreme 3000k's also... mine does not hit the ground like his does in his third picture... nor does mine hit the garage the same.... i dunno maybe i'm being silly... but still just wanted to know if anyone made any adjustments

You are correct, I checked the manual and there is an identical adjustment screw down there. You need to adjust them just like the headlights, park it about 10 ft away from a wall, watch the cutoff line, and turn the screw until you get it where you want it.

I didn't do any adjusting after I installed them. I only adjusted my low beams up, as I really feel they are too low, cancelling some of the effect of the fogs.
