Hey, I was wondering if there is a double-din faceplate or attachment? for a 2006 IS 350. I want to get the pioneer AVIC Z2 double-din Navigation system, but my IS 350 does not have enough space to put it in, i dont think? Thanks for your help in advance.

Nothing as of yet, there is one company that should put one out really soon that relocates the lower cd changer to the glove box.

I have been searching for the same thing for the past year now. I still got no luck. But my car came with nav. I just want a double din that i can put where my ac controls are etc..

iexpress cant you just take out your OEM Navigation and replace it with the double-din one? or is it more complicated

Nope you can't do that! since the A/C is integrated with the Navi... so you can't just replace the Navigation Unit to a aftermarket audio unit

Aww that sucks, would it be possible to re-locate the Cd player to the glove box so you can put a double-din navigation in the car?

Also, if I cannot get a double-din, will a single din flip out montior fit? And if so does anyone have any pics of the finished product? Thanks

Ya i would like a flip out also. But how would that work? Where would it be placed? Now i know for a fact that a member here on the forums has put the ac controls in the gloves compartment. Personally i might be crazy, but i would love a flip out and not mess with the oem nav. 2 screens will be great.. one for nav other for music, video, back up cam, and etc..

I really dont want to put my AC controls in the glove compartment. But I just cant find out where I would put a single din flip out monitor. Ahhhh Lexus, just has to make to complicated.

yeah lexus really screwed us over with aftermarket deck's in this car. I think the dash kit that is in the works will relocate the 6 disc changer (on the bottom of the center dash) so you can put a single din unit there. A few people have made custom jobs and eh, some look "ok", but i personally woudl much rather a double din touch screen aftermarket unit. Oh well, can't have it all!
