so i voted you're getting under 300 miles. since you said you're getting ***tty mileage.

my average tank fill for the last 5 fills has been 14.58 gallons. my average trip miles prior to those fillups is 358.9. thus coming to an average of 24.6mpg. total cost for 5 fillups is $201.05.

i'm mostly flat land, however, going up and down a hill every day. so i'd say 90% city (city = L.A. pot hole and parking lot) driving. i'll hop on the freeway for 60 mile drive every other week.

i'm on a 250RWD.

Look like most people are getting 300-349. If I use my avg mpg I will get 374 but I don't trust that anyway. The first two tanks went fast for me I guess the engine needs to take in more gas to adjust or something.

Filled up my whole tank (17.1 gallons)

I assuming the above illustration is my fuel tank, I was on freeway for 160 miles and that dash is where I am at now right. damn 160 miles killed lotta gas.

What's your current mileage? the first couple tanks you should get low number. but 215 is still a low number. Do you do a lot of local driving?

jimjaix, do yourself a favor and switch the info display to the temperature. Feel and smell the leather. Enjoy the electronic goodies. Find a nice road and go for a ride. You have a beautiful new car, and it sounds like you aren't enjoying your "honeymoon" with it because you are obsessing over the gas mileage. You bought the sporty Lexus, not a Prius. The mileage will improve a bit as the car breaks in and as the weather gets warmer. But don't spoil your first weeks and months with the car worrying about it.

I drive an IS350

50% conservative, 50% aggressive driving

in

50% highway, 50% city/traffic driving.

Getting 22.9 mpg, or about 345 miles on a 15 gallon tank...

I have 7500 miles on my IS350. I went about 70 miles past the "0" on approximate distance. I got over 380 miles.
I've been getting about 23-27.

400+. Actually seen as high as 435 before a 15.8 gallon fill with Cali gasoline. Farther on out-of-state gas.

91 octane, Shell (top tier gas)

Almost all highway.

How aggressive is "aggressive", I do the same type of driving as you but I get 100 miles less than you.
