A few Sunoco stations in the area used to offer 94 octane at the pump, quite a few years back.

No it shouldn't make a difference, assuming you drive a lotta local/city

You won't know the difference between 91 and 93.

on a related topic, how is 'range' calculated when you first fill up the tank. Does it take into account your last tank or overall AVG MPG? I allways fill up till it clicks off, but sometimes it says 387 and other times its @395.

Assuming we all have the same tank size - and also assuming that most of the folks responding (self included) did NOT drive their Lexus until it actually ran out of gas -- or went to the trouble of double-checking that their tank was topped off....................

...a better (more accurate) question would be "How many miles per gallon (actual) are you averaging - not what the computer is calculating, but what are you actually getting on average? I don't know myself :~)

I usually get 320-340. A couple of times, I've wanted to see exactly how far I can get based on what it says--but w/o actually stalling. Anyway, I've gotten it down to 2 before. Not really on purpose, I forgot that AM when I went to work that I needed to get gas, so decided I would do it after work. At lunch I realized I had to go out and forgot to get gas as I'm driving down the highway at 80! So first exit I took, I filled up. Highway driving definitely gets you more than city.
