agreed...any tunnel trance force will get you going....In the mornings i listen to Preston and Steve on 933 WMMR here in the Philly area...afternoon is the ipod with techno trance and rock.....mostly very melodic vocal trance to calm my nerves after teaching 22 5 year olds all day! But the IS250 also helps cure my pain

If you REALLY and I mean REALLY want to see what kind of BASS the IS has than try and download

1) "The Chillo" by Ministry of Sound
2) "Beautiful" by Mandalay --> gets awesome as it progresses!!
3) "Streets of Tomorrow" by Carla Vallet (That's right, this is that Audi commercial song!!)

They're all trance/techno BUT, they're pretty good.... Always get's me in the mood...

Let me know what you think of it if you download it....coz I got plenty more where that came from!

this has been discussed in several other threads, but to answer your question...

depends.

some have said it's worlds better than the stock pioneer set-up, some say it's over-rated. if i were you, listen to both systems back-to-back w/ a track that really works all the speakers, and decide for yourself.

IMO, the 2is ML system > the 2is pioneer system.

Paul Oakenfield Bunka Cd has some good rush music. Infact do a search for IN SEARCH OF SUNRISE Parts 1-5, they are over an hour long and its Paul van Dyke vs. other DJs.

Obviously the ML system does have its pluses over the stock Pioneer system, but I think in order to really bring out the full potential the ML has over the stock, you need to pop in a DVD, which I hardly do. The sound quality is absolutely stunning with a DVD, as is the surround sound. Most of the time, unfortunately, I just have the iPod stuck in through the AUX port on Shuffle (which includes some hip hop, folk, alt rock, pop, Cpop, ie pretty much everything, to answer OP ) and never really use the full potential of the great system :/

MoLexus and y2ks2k, i think you all should give a band called Alter Bridge a try. Great Rock band, its the 3 original members of Creed, with a new lead singer who doesnt hold them back, although Creed is one of my fav bands as well. They have real rock songs, great band with freakin awesome solos! Give em a try!
