It was around 8:00am few weeks ago, In Staten Island, NY, Cop pulled over next to me in traffic (highway patrol) and asked if there was any reason why I have limo tinted my windows. I said no reason. He said "I give you 1 week to remove it. If I see you again you get ticket for every window."
I guess it really depends on the cop mood that moment when they see you
