Ask your dealer to perform TSIB BR002-06 for the brake pads, and TSIB EL013-06 for the navigation system.

Default Does it matter if your brakes have only 25% left?!?!

It seems like there is no restriction after reading the bulletin, but i have 20k miles and last report was <25% brakes left. I almost feel guilty getting free pads! Could it be true? They're not going to give me **** for it are they?

My car must be one of the ones covered, my friggin front wheels are covered with dust just driving up the street!

They gave you the front ones for free, did you get (and pay for) new rear brakes from Lexus as well? If so, did you get the old performance ones,or the new cleaner ones?

I got the non performance ones... as the ones on the car were the high performance ones but with 30K miles i can not complain im sure i was going to have to replace my pads sometime soon lol... and it was just for the front pads not the rear.

so really you have the option to get1/2 of the brakes changed to the new materials - i think some people may be under the impression that they get all 4 pads changed for free. that would only affect the performance a little as the rears would be exactly the same. would you mind if i asked what lexus what lexus charged for new rear pads?

I didn't expect them to change the rears as the TSB clearly says the front.
