Like the thread title says, anyone have this installed and have pics of it sitting from the drivers seat. the Kuda site does have pics but they are all from the passenger seat and at a bad angle. Just seeing how it looks. If you can, tell me if you think its worth the price. thanks guys

what would the use of the kuda be to you?

personally i love the bluetooth and push start feature.

makes it so my phone and keys stay deep in my pockets.
only time i take my phone out is to charge it. i basically throw it in the cup holder until i get out of the car

I want it for my ipod so I can see the screen while im driving and not have it in the center console thing.

This combined with the kuda Dice ipod active dock with swivel mount would look very clean.

I like the Kuda vent mount better, because you don't need to take your eyes off the road that much to look at the console mount one, which I think is too low.

If nobody had installed it in the meantime, I'll just go ahead and buy it.

Problems:

• how do you pull out the vent mask? I tried to use a credit card but it wouldn't come out
• I have a PDA that I want to swivel towards the driver. Apparently KUDA doesn't have a swivel mount that can can swivel left-right (?!) Their "swivel mount for any of our holders" "allows tilting mounted device even more towards the driver-it tilts only up and down" (WTF! Does the driver sit above or below the device? Get someone who can write comprehensible English!)
• their 4-step checkout process doesn't let you get both the swivel mount and the passive PDA holder.
• the whole deal, mount, swivel base, PDA holder, costs $56+$20+$14= $90 !!

I have the one that mounts on the side of the console for my ipod. Works great, except if someone tall sits in my passenger seat.

I want to switch it up so I can close keep that sliding panel closed.

UPDATE: I bought the Kuda mount and have been using it for 10 months, attached to the central vents. It's been a very good mount and it could be swiveled comfortably to get a good angle.

At one point it became loose enough that when I made a turn, the mount would swivel in place. To fix that, just push the holder up and out, then screw in the central screw that will become accessible.
