I got my heat gun from ACE and it was like 12$ or something. Much better than 120$/hr installation fees from the stealership.
We could request to add this to FAQ section of 2IS.

I received a quote from my local Toyota dealership for $175 to install ... has anyone used a non-Lexus dealership to install their rear spoiler?? The Lexus dealerships by my house do not have a body shop ... which is why I'm having to out-source this work ...

To the OP, save your $$$ and do it yourself. Listen to what everyone else have been saying. When I put on my spoiler, I knew from the getgo that I didn't want to drill any holes whatsoever. I had some friends help me yank the screws out with some pliers but I pretty much used tape to put the spoiler on myself. One thing that was different for me was that the original tape that came with the spoiler didn't really hold so I went out and bought some bonding tape. I lined the entire spoiler really well and it's held on ever since.
Another tip I'd recommend is have a friend help you since having two people to line up the spoiler would make the job easier.

So I went my local dealer for prices for the spoiler with installation and they quoted me for:
Spoiler: $250.00
Installation : $250
3rd brake light kit: $40
Installation: $80
=$620 w/o taxes Too freakin expensive.
Has any installed the 3rd brakelight kit? Is it necessary or will the 3rd brake light be visible with the spoiler on?

Not sure if this happens to others but:
I called a local Chicago Lexus dealership and asked for labor cost for installing a (Lexus original) rear spoiler to my IS250. The service manager quoted me for 1 hour of labor at $108 / hour. I drove up there the next day and he said it will be 2 hours = $216.
I told him that someone quoted me for 1 hour, so he said I was misquoted but he will do for 1 1/2 hours = $162. I said ok let just do it.
I watched the installer did it in 20 minutes..and saw him walking around and talking to other customers for another 20 minutes. Finally, the service manager came out and said my car is ready and it will be $162. I asked him how can it be 1 1/2 hours of billing while I was physically in his dealership for less than 45 minutes. He told me that it was agreed at 1 1/2 hours, and I said no way. So he went out and spoke to the installer, came back 10 minutes later and decided to charge me for only $108. That was ridiculous.
