I've installed a computer in my IS350 (using NavTV). I'm using a program called powerstrip to try to adjust the resolution (which goes from the computer's composite video out) to get the best picture. Anyone know of the native resolution and refresh rate or where I might find that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think someone ask that question before. The guy confirm that this info is not available in the Owner's Manual.
The alternative: Lexus Tecnical Information System

It is my understanding that the screen is running VGA @ 800x600 or very close to this, as I'm not sure if the Navi screen is considered [standard] or [widescreen]. if so, then ratio the resoution of 800x600 [4:3] by [16:9] or 1.85.1.

I'll post pictures up when its done. Right now its still acting erractically and the picture is less than perfect... The resolution does appear to be close to 800x600, though the screen automatically streches the screen to Widescreen 16x9) ratio, so it would have to be a standard 4x3 resolution. I did subscribe to TIS before, but not for this reason and I don't feel like paying more money to learn one little fact... Will open this up to other sections on this forum!

There is nothing in the service manual or the new car features manual describing the available screen resolution. Sorry.

The screen is capable of playing DVD video, so I don't think Lexus will use VGA with only 256 colors. That technology is from the 80s. I think it could posibly be WXGA (16 million colors) with an aspect ratio of 16:9. But then again I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure ES3 is right; VGA (640x480) resolution. Considering that most consumer DVDs have the video stored at 720x480, that resolution would be an excellent choice. Judging from the backup camera (I don't have ML/DVD
