Default Traction Control OFF...

makes turning corners FUN! Getting all kinds of sideways.

Make sure you turn it completely off, otherwise it will automatically turn back on once the car senses you are losing traction.

Hold the button for more than 3 seconds. That turns it all the way off.

Does that apply to the '06, also? I tried holding it for 3 seconds today, and then again for more than 3, and neither would make it stay off. The traction light indicator went off each time after I hit about 30 mph.

for you 2006-ers.

the only way you can do this is to do the "petal dance" do a search on it. it will come up.

to the OP...the "all kinds of sideways" would be much easier if Lexus decided to use a LSD...which i wish they did!

OK, thanks. I knew about the pedal dance, but that would also turn off VDIM. I thought maybe I could turn off only the TC, and have it remain off. No big deal. Just wondering.
