The first and second picture IMO do look like rock chips.
I'll have to post mine, I don't have 12 but I probably have about 4 or 5 and they look similar to that.
I don't know how big those chips are but mine are relatively small, and hard to notice unless you are looking for them. But that is the beauty of TP.
Have you ever got behind larger trucks, or semis on the interstate? Those guys throw up rocks like crazy!

Okay, IMO, they dont look like chips at all - but if you say they are, then they are. I could TOTALLY believe that the carwash caused the roof scratch. What kind of carwash was it - what did they use, rubber or brushes. Some of the drivethrough carwashes here use rotating wheels with rubber brushes - kinda hard to explain, but they are not the typical brushy or clothy type.
The rubber beats the HELL out of your car! Before I got smart, I took my wifes car through it and just cringed as the thing pounded me harder than a mens prison after lights out.

The rock chips are probably just that - rock chips. The one that is suspect though, in my opinion, is the scratch on the roof. I've never seen bird poop that scratches your car. I've seen it affect the finish, but not leave a "scratch". That was probably from the car wash.
