Default Instructions for removing the tail lights and rear reflectors.

Well I have decided to tint the tail lights, but instead of doing the vinyl stuff, I am going to have a local auto shop actually do a paint tint thing and clear coat that looks MUCH better. So I need to figure out how to get the tail lights and reflectors (all six pieces) out. Anyone have any pdfs or pics showing how to take em out? I like to know exactly what needs to be done before I start it. Thanks guys.

I don't think you need to take the light out to do that....Sorry...I did not read the thread...My bad...I don't know how to do that...But if you take a look at the manual they tell you how to change the bulb. I think the proceedure is the same...

No no, I want to remove the entire light assembly (all six pieces), not just take the actual blub light out.

for the reflectors on the bumper, there is 1 screw holding them in. you will probably have to remove the rear bumper... its pretty easy.

Correct me if I am wrong. Tinted tail lights are illegal. What are you going to do if you get a ticket. I think that a mod like that should be done with removable methods like lay overs.

Are they really??? I have never heard of anyone getting pulled over for them... I mean I dont think they should be seeing as how the lights are still clearly visable. Any know for sure if they are illegal in CA?
