Ground Loop Isolator for AUX input
I read somewhere in a post that a lot of people run their MP3 player into a ground loop isolator, then to the input and made claims that this made MP3's near CD quality.
My quesion is this...does the ground loop isolator do anything to the quality of the MP3?
Aren't they designed to eliminate interference from the car's power supply? I've always used them to eliminate buzzing/humming noises after installing an aftermarket stereo.
MP3's are pretty bad quality...the ones i get anyway. But hey...if a GLI will help, I'm game!
