Default exhaust line up. pic inside

is this okay if the exhaust lines up like this. i dont want to get an exhaust leak

I don't think mine are like that. I will check tomorrow and take a picture of it. If there's an exhaust leak you will definetly hear it.

You'll know if there's a leak. But mine does not look like that at all. Loosen the bolts (actually removed the bolts) and reinstall them. It shouldn't take you more that 10 mins to remove and reinstall the bolts.

Here is a pictures of mine that i took earlyer today.... It doesn't leak at all. You will definetly hear if it's not sealing good. Hope this helps

I have the tanabe exhaust and mine looks almost the same as the picture all the way on top and I don't have any leaks. You would deffinitely hear it if there was a leak it's a very annoing sound.

Working at Toyota and knowing how much we concentrate on quality, I would say you NEED to fix it!!

What may have happened is that the flange on the inside is "pinched" with the other side and that's why it looks like that...

It's not that hard......just pull both pipes together and tighten it! If you don't than you may have an issue in the future as far as unwanted noise, etc...

Yea I would re tighten that. When re tightening, take turns on each side. Like do a few turns on one side and vice versa so it'll be even. Also try moving it around to get the best connection.
