Cool Moonroof Tint
Does anyone know what percent the tint is on the moonroof of a stock IS?

No, I dont know, but I would say 35%.

i think 35% too, its not as dark as my 15% but darker than my 45%

Cops have all the gadgets to tell what % it is.

i dont think its 35% cause it looks lighter than my 38% tint on the windows... it definitely doesn't match

My installer told me it is the same shade with factory installed tint for SUVs (whatever % that is). I would not go 30mph over speed limit just to find it out. Speeding ticket just to find out? NO.NO.NO.

At least 70+ percent, stuff dont even look like tint to me . It looks more anti UV ray.

i wish i had tinted mine. i like it open and having the light come thru. i could see the benfit of it when its hot out and i am sure with the other windows tinted it would look really good!

The factory sunroof tint is 20% just like SUVs and mini vans from the middle back. Depends on what color the tint is also like midnight, shadow, charcoal, etc...to match the sunroof

i always tint my sunroof. dont like when u get in the car during the summer and all u feel is some heat comeing off that stupid glass while the rest of the car is cool.
