My friends thinks i should downsize rims size from 18 to 17!

Don't listen to your friends. Like said before...the 18s look small as it is on the ISx50...if anything...bump those up to 19s! especially since you got the eibach lowering kit

What I think your friend is say that if you go with a smaller wheel you car will get a little quicker with accelaration because the wheel is lighter and the diameter is smaller, meaning that the car does not have to work as hard to push a bigger wheel. If you went with 20's or somthing don't expect to be quick off the line, its all for looks. If you went with a larger diameter wheel it will take a longer time for the car to get up to speed because 1 the wheel weighs more and 2 it takes longer for the rotational accelaration for the wheel to get up to speed because of the larger diameter. Thats why you never see 20's on a race car, its almost always 17's. Sorry for the physics lesson. It all depends on what your gonna do with your car... If your gona go to the track get smaller wheels. If your goin for looks get some nice big wheels to fill up that wheel well.
