No word yet from the victim? I'm guessing and hoping that the owner did not want the bad publicity and had his lawyer make Daisy & husband sign a gag agreement in exchange for a new car to their specs! Good luck if you're still lurking on the site.

I think when I buy my next car, I might just use a broker.

Dealership was probably hacked off and they had 'em whacked. We won't be hearing anymore from Mr. and Mrs. Daisy. Lesson learned ..... "Don't mess with the dealer, they are more powerful than you"

This is totally ridiculous. I can't believe any legitimate business would pull a stunt like that.

But being a devil's advocate, I thought the OP should know better that Park Assist is NOT a dealer-installed option. It is integrated with the bumpers, linked to the center display, and can be activated/deactivated thru the scroll buttons. It's quite obvious that this option HAS to come from the factory.

After reading this, I have decided in this order...
1. The job they did was terrible
2. They tried to deceive Daisy
3. Daisy was being very civil about the whole thing
4. I wouldn't have been that nice
5. Daisy and husband accepted a compromise that seemed good for the dealer...still not so good for Daisy...they didn't get the car they ordered
6. I wouldn't have been that nice
7. Dealer had guts to back out of the deal
8. Dealer really had guts to post here
9. We're all behind Mr. and Mrs. Daisy
10. Lexus really needs to come through on this one
11. I really would like to know how this came out!

@BucBaby... I think that is the most concise way of stating the whole situation I've seen yet.

I totally agree with you.
