Take them to an auto body/paint shop and have them done. You get a beautiful paint job and clear coats on top of that. I was quoted 160 for all six pieces (4 tail lights and the 2 rear reflectors). I wouldnt even think of attempting to spray paint my brand new lexus tail lights myself with that crap. What if it doesnt turn out right? How you going to get it off?

i wouldn't recommend it... you can get the same look with smoked out vinyls... and like ben r said... once you put it on it's definitely alot harder to remove if you ever decided to.

i used the red one once... on my es300... wasn't happy

i tried stuff like that a few years back on my z. it melted the plastic on the taillights and ended up looking like crap. it was a very matte finish and when i waxed the car i got wax stuck in the porosities of the melted plastic... making it look even worse! stay away from it and get it custom painted, just make sure you give them a very detailed written explanation of how you want the smoke out color to look. or provide pics showing an example of the results you want.

--they could very easily make them too dark. like mine
-i didnt have it done, some kid who owned the car before me had them painted too dark.
