Does the stock wheel exactly match the TP car color?
If so, do you think Lexus originally intended to match each car's paint with the same color wheels? Wouldn't that have looked better?

No, it does not match the TP color.

Car paint color and alloy metal color differ because of texture, as well as the car's clear coat. Paint color is smooth and reflective, whereas the alloy is slightly textured and non-reflective.
