from what i noticed, it "pops" open if the tether that connects the gas cap to the car gets bunched up when you close the door.

It swings ............OPEN. Don't really notice how it opens. I come out and it's open.

nice pop on mine, then i open it all the way. i think it has something to do with the small metal flange, which might inhibit the swinging of the door.

omg. over a gas cap door?

more important things on the car.

plus. mine just barely pop opens.

Imagine if it is popped open all the way and someone walks up the driver side and breaks the door. wut a bummer.

glad it barely opens!
