To me, the picture looks like you left the clear film that came from factory on. Are you sure you pulled it off?

Yeah I'd have to agree on that one... It looks like the clear plastic is still on it and either air bubbles or moisture has gotten underneath.

And to answer your other question.....BUY THEM!.....they look amazing on the car......also, what are you talking about when you say you want to paint them black?...the "Lexus" symbol on the scuff plates is blue
I just meant I think the silver part being a flat black would have looked nice. I would have never dreamed of covering the gorgeous blue glow!

Took it to the dealer today at lunch ...... two new Scuff Plates are on order .... they will look into the "loose" passenger-side foglamp at the same time.

I understand about the salt and sand. That's why I am cleaning the car as intensly by hand in the winter as I am in the summer.

is that the plastic ?
it looks like the plastic is still on ur scuff plates.

mine have a funny warranty story.
they werent lighting up and it took the service center about an hour and a half to realize that you had to press the DOOR button for them to light.
lol.

Yea took me a little while to figure that one out too after installing them. Kinda lame since I always have that dome light door feature off... Now I have to change out the bulbs to something other than that ugly yellow. Guess im going with blue LEDs.
