ive special ordered my car on 01/11 and im guessing it should come any day now? can someone else who se their car let me know how long it usually takes, since i heard it takes about 3 months to come. thanks.

your dealer should've given you a tracking number so you know where your car is currently located and the ETA.






just kidding. i've heard of deliveries that have taken up to 4-5 months...you can call the dealer and ask them the ETA.

I ordered my IS350 with NAV+ML on August 29. It arrived on November 20.

A little less than 3 months.

There is no standard delivery time man... its whenever you get lucky! Thats why so many dont like ordering, because youll never know when itll come. But might I add: man you got a cool combination! Wish I could have gotten the same thing cept in an auto. I couldnt wait for a special order though.

mine took four months..you won't know when it comes til it gets to the port..usually around 2 weeks before it arrive at the dealer depending where you are.

if your order went in before the 20th (which is sounds like it did), you should have it by the 3 month mark (4/21).

I ordered mine about 1/25 and I just got a call that its coming to port tomorrow, and the salesman said it usually takes about 5 more day to get here. So yours should be coming any day now.

I ordered mine the 1st week of December '06 and the car arrived last week - so it as a long wait. I'll be back in the country next weekend for delivery so I'm waiting anxiously

SO DID I!!! and I still have no news. In fact the guy said: they come to dealership two times a month. So I missed the April 15th delivery, and I still have no news on May 1st. GOD. I CAN NOT wait any longer.

I here ya. I had my Wife snap of some pics at the dealer and it looks fantastic; I cannot wait to see it in person. Ordered up some LED's from VLEDS for the interior, Park lamps and Puddle Lamps; some HID's for the Fog/Hi's and a Tom's front lip.

Mines coming to the Port in Jacksonville, I live in Atlanta, I'm not sure if theres another major port closer to you. I would imagine somewhere in Maryland or by there. But your car might be on the same shipment as mine

Technique

Standard time is 4 months... Some people get lucky and it takes 3 months... Others get unlucky, and it takes 5 months...

Until you get a VIN# and port date from your dealer, you are in limbo though...

To the OP: I know what the wait is like... Torturous... You can check the website in my sig for my story on how my special order went if you'd like... It has some more details about the process and a picture of the order sheet that gets sent to Japan...
