Is that on a AWD? Would they fit on a AWD without mods or problems?

Alright..I'm basically gonna start to bombard everyone w/ Sevas rims and low profile tires w/ questions here..

I saw some guy at the gas station and had Cathafer's rims..painted to match white (or w/e color name it is, cant think of it now)...point is...BEAUTIFUL ride..

Question #1

IS THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN GET A NICE STAGGERED LOOK THAT'S NOT SO LOW IN TIRE PROFILE IN THE REAR? 285/25/20 IS A BIT STEEP,...LOOKS GREAT THOUGH..BUT FOR LONG COMMUTES AND LOTS OF BUMPS AND POT HOLES IN DOWNTOWN MIAMI...IM NOT SO SURE IT'S A WISE DECISION...THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I'M DEBATING ON RUNNING SEVAS S-STAR'S W/ 245/35/19 AND 275/30/19...

Question #2

Dropping your car. I'm afraid of losing ride quality. This guy @ the gas station ran the Eibach pro kit w/ his rim and tire set up...INSAANE!! it looked like he couldnt even put anyone in the back seat or else the thing would rub disgusstingly! The ride looked great..but messing w/ ur car like that to later have ur car useless ?

just blurting things out real quick before class..lemme know what everyone thinks about this !

There are ways to fix rub. But usually you have to choose between looks an comfort. It's a hard decision with our cars.

vApor21 any rubbing? im thinkin about getting those in black
Rubbed a bit in the front when i first installed them. i grabbed a heat gun here at work and heated a small part of the plastic wheel well and when it got real soft, i pushed it in with a small piece of 4x4 unit it hardened up again. Took me about 5 minutes for both sides. Now i can do full u-turns with 5 people in the car and NO rubbing whatsoever.

No, this is on a RWD. I dont see why they wouldnt fit on an AWD. But i dont know for sure. I believe Cathafer's car is AWD and she's running 20" sevas as well.

I believe that if you get anything thicker then low profile tires on 20's, you're gonna rub. As you saw above, i had a small rubbing issue in the front. Imagine a fatter tire. i live in Miami as well and i work in a very commercial area of Miami (right next to the airport very close to TGK). I was actually surprised on how nice the car rides. After seeing countless threads on people complaining about ride quality on 20's, i kinda held back a bit. But i finally decided to just go ahead and go with the 20's. To be honest, i really didnt feel a difference in ride quality whatsoever from stock to 20's. People may think im lying, but im being 100% honest. Im surprised at how good the suspension is on the 2IS because the car drives 110% like stock after installing the Tanabe DF210's. Remember that the DF210s have a LOWER drop than the NF210s that everyone puts on their 2IS. I think its the perfect drop for 20's As you can see in the pix.

Thanks to everyone else for their kind words.

That looks really fantastic. I am in love with those wheels but at 20" they are a little too big for me, practically speaking. But dang, those look hot on your car.
