Yes it does work through the nav screen. You can see the channel info and song info.

This is not true. Dice has an HD radio that integrates with the Lexus and uses the Navagation screen.

The value is up to the invidual to assess. I find the $13/mo charge very fair for what it gives you. It sure beats the garbage you find on commercial FM.
The thing is though, if you don't order your vehicle with XM, and have it later added with Kit, you will still have to put the magenet with the cord somewhere so it wouldn't be as slick as say having it already in the sharkfin. I can justify the cost of the XM in the sharkfin for that price, I can't however can see how the dealer can charge the same price(and more) when it isn't the same as the ones staight off the boat ordered with it.

What about the Terk XMDTLK? Isn't that around $150? Won't that integrate with our cars as well? I see a question in the ES forum, but no real answers.

BTW, my last car (04 Acura TL) had integrated XM, and I always had success renewing at the $77/year promotion. I did that for 2 years. Works out to just over $6/month, which in my opinion is more worth the price.

Nah, if you buy it afterwards it still installs just like factory using the sharkfin for the antenna. Check out the install guide posted for the 07 XM kit from lexus-parts.com. Link

Ah, didnt know about that one. Thanks. My problem is that I HATE radio and cant stand listening to DJs talk about ANYTHING. So hearing them in better clarity is not something Id pay 200 bucks for. Thats why if I did anything it would be XM because its supposed to be mostly commercial free.

Also isnt XM and Sirius combining together? If that happens soon then wed get the best of both worlds.

Was it this one? The auction is over, but it was $99!

I tried contacting them about it, but haven't heard back. Does it work pretty seamlessly?

Be careful though... The 07 and 06 use a different XM radio kit!

That's only the fit kit, you need the receiver too. I paid around $300 for both.
