One thing about the X-pkg wheel design is it shows alot of the brakes, so they may seem out of place on a 250 which has the smaller disc brakes . . .
Uh, yes they are. Similar, yes - they are both mesh wheels. However, the black rims you see above are indeed Lexus G-Spider wheels, and are MOST DEFINITELY NOT BBS RS-GT's. You can easily tell by looking at them (or reading the press release):

Please don't degrade such an awesome wheel...

Off-topic, but what's the difference between powder coat black and just painting it in let's say Obsidian?

Can you ask a dealer do paint it in Obsidian?

Does anyone know if any model of the 18's are lighter than any of the others?

X package is taking the lead.

seem like ISP and G Spyders are still preffered over the OEM stock 18" & 17".

But the ISP and G Spyders are the best bang for the buck for brand new.

My choices are X package, ISP, then refinished Stock 18.

I think my ISPs give a little bit of uniqueness as there are a lot of IS around in California. I've only seen one other person with these wheels but I have seen a few G-Spyders too.

Agreed.

I have yet to see ISP on the road. G spyders are OK, but cleaning them will be hell. Imagine using a sponge cleaning every crevice?

ISP may be tolerable.

X package is by far the easiest. Big 5 spoke wheels make it easy to clean.. even the inside.

Too many 2IS in California. Time to change it up if it matters to you.

Where are you located in CA? Norcal or Socal?

The G Syders in person look smaller than 18s and are a little plain. Cleaning the ISPs are a pain but I just deal with it, maybe takes a minute longer per wheel which is manageable. I live in Fremont
