1. Does the passenger mirror tilt down when you put the car in reverse? (on either the PT or LT package)

2. Are the outside mirrors auto-dimming like the rear view mirror?

3. Do the outside mirrors have defrosters built in?

Don't have LT package on my IS but my wife' RX has. If u don't want ur side mirror to tilt when in reverse put the control in the middle. The control to adjust ur side mirrors.

How about that. Yes to all ur questions..BTW do u have problems with your left side mirror. At night I see circles of lights. I tried to adjust in or out but I can't seem to get rid of the problem. That's the most common complaint about our lt side mirror.

Hmm...I think I toyed around with most of the buttons on my car, and my mirror wasn't that clear on a rainy day.

Maybe it's a LT feature?

nope i have the premium package and i think its standard. cuz every morning my rear window and side mirrors are fogged up. and when i turn on the rear defroster, the side mirrors take about 30 secs to defrost whereas the rear take a good 3 mins or more.

Isn't this normal? It's done that in every car I've ever driven. It is so you can see the curb better when parallel parking. Generally speaking you shouldn't be parallel parking on the left side unless it is a one way street. You'll get a ticket for that here since you are facing the wrong way on the road.

hmmm that probably explains it... good point! but then... why even have the driver's side mirror tilt down at all in the first place? unless it's for those occurrences that you're parallel parking on the driver's side on a one way street like you mentioned...
