Thanks for the link.
Price is now $269.10 with discount.
Part is listed for the 2006 model.
Does anyone know if it will work in the 2007 with the shark fin antenna. The instructions include mounting the antenna to the trunk lid, but don't say how to connect to the existing antenna on the 2007 model.

I found it.
If you try to "shop by model", they only list the 2006.
When you "shop by category" then select satelite radio, they also only list the 2006. But if you select the 2006 you then get a choice of 5 different parts, including the 2007 only version.
Thanks again. Ordering now.

No, that is the point of the Lexus customer service line. They are a support center, with paid employees standing by to expeditiously answer owners questions. If they have to tell 50 people in a row how to reset their maintenance indicators, so be it, that's what they're getting paid for. We, on the other hand, are a discussion forum. A "club" where we come to discuss our cars, share our experiences, learn from each other. A big part of that, of course, is helping each other out. But sometimes that help comes in the form of telling folks how and where to find the answer, not necessarily in spoon feeding it to them.
Even an advanced search takes much less time than what it takes for others to rehash a topic that has been discussed dozens of times, or is in the FAQ.
And from the perspective of the person seeking help, the rehash is typically less comprehensive than the original thread.
Waste of your time? That's a rather egocentric perspective.
The question that the original poster posed has been asked and answered in dozens of earlier threads. Wouldn't it have been more beneficial for the site had he done his homework and then posted something new and interesting? Perhaps a novel way of mounting the antenna. A DIY thread with pictures, as you suggested in a later post. Or even a review about how the Lexus XM unit compared with the one in his rental car?
Sure, we "regulars" want to make everyone, especially newcomers, feel welcome. But at the same time, we'd like to teach them how to use the resources of the site such as the search and FAQs, so that frequently discussed topics bring new ideas and perspectives and remain interesting.
If Im working on installing something right now, or ready to pull the trigger on a purchase and I post in a forum for some advice/help, I dont want to hear "do a search"! I need the answers/help/suggestions at that moment.
And from the perspective of the person seeking help, the rehash is typically less comprehensive than the original thread.
Now someone posting something like: "Hey man, heres the answer, and heres another thread were this topic was covered really well" is perfectly acceptable. But anything else is a waste of my time.

If it is fairly simple to help someone out with a particular subject/question, why bust chops and throw them into a search? That doesn't make a club feel very welcoming to people new to it.
If it bothers you to see a repeat question, move on to the next thread.
