Post Lumbar Support in IS 250?

How are the seats? How are they on long trips? Do you find yourself always shifting in your seat while driving?

Thanks.

The seats are comfortable, I can stay in the same position for extended periods of time. I'm about 5'7"

I have a lower back that treats me like hell. No matter what mattress ( i have the good ole' tempur pedic) or what seat, or what support, it hurts, I could use a little more though. support that is.

They help with your posture.

But so does Pilates to keep your back strong and upright...

As you can tell I'm planning on buying an '08 IS 250 (I've been on this forum for about a year now, just not posting, and it pains me to see posts about people planning on buying. I guess that makes me a hypocrite, ).

I'm coming from a standard cab '03 Tacoma (Still staying in the Toyota family though) and there is not one single shred of comfort in the seat. I'm 5' 10" and take long trips (2 hour drive one-way) every weekend and my back can't take it anymore.
You should take advantage of great deals right now ... and purchase an '07!!

Well, as a certified Old Fart on this forum (over 55), I've found the seats to be remarkably comfortable. I'm 6'2" and about 180, have lower back and knee issues (what one gets for jumping out of perfectly good airplanes), and with the lumbar support, I've been able to be behind the wheel for several hours at a stretch (driving time is now bladder governed) with little to no discomfort. Suggest you try before you buy though!

I think that are some of the most comfortable seats Ive ever sat in for such a small car.

I'm not that big so the seat are a tad wide for me. I slide around in them and the lumber just doesnt feel right for me, unfortunately.

They're great... one of my favourite features since I got my car 3 weeks ago. I'm 6'3" and 260 lbs. so you should probably be fine.

I recommend getting the premium leather too... it's warming up here and wearing short sleeves I love the feeling of the leather on the center console. Although I dunno if the console leather is premium as well.
