It seems as there is some confusion here. The 250 does indeed have the pollution filter, however the 350 has the sensor(I'm assuming that this is the auto button between the fresh and recirc buttons) to automatically direct the airflow through this filter whereas on the 250 you have to manually select it. I assumed when the previous poster had mentioned an auto recirc function that they were talking about the ability of the HVAC system to automatically switch between fresh air and recirc air without going through the pollution filter, which the 250 can do, I can watch mine switch back and forth between modes to maintain cabin temp if outside conditions are right.
