What amount of orange peel is acceptable on repainted door?

"fish eyes" are dots in the clear coat. Those are harder to sand off. Sand too much and you'll cut into the paint. Sand too little, you can't get rid of the fish eyes.
Have them sand it and see if you are happy. If not, take it to another body shop and bill them. Or, claim insurance and your insurance co. will contact their insurance co. for a cliam. That will get their attention becuase a claim will casue their insurance premiums to rise. They don't like that!
