So you know how if you leave a door opened and you try and lock the car, it will beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep for a long time saying "i'm not closed completely, check the doors"....

Well has anyone else noticed that if all the doors are closed fully but the trunk is open, it will LOCK!!!?!?!?!?!

I noticed this the other night, when all my doors were closed, the car locked, but my headlights wouldn't turn off; even when i pushed the lock button multiple times the lights didn't turn off. So I just turned the lights off manually on the switch.

The next morning I go to my car, and as soon I'm about to drive off, the info display says TRUNK OPEN!!!



what the hell.... so if the trunk is open but all the doors are closed, the car will lock? What if I had valuables in the trunk, but didn't know it was open?!

Because you can't get into the car from the trunk.

Well you could unlock the doors thru the access trunk door.

Yea really! No one is getting through that trunk pass through thing! Besides you can lock it too cant you? with the key. Ill never use it.

I open my trunk, get out of the car, lock the doors, get my golf clubs from the trunk, close the trunk. Works just fine. I'd hate to have to fish for my key to lock the car after getting my clubs out.
