first off for the thread police, i looked but could not find this topic.

anyway, i was wondering if anyone has had this issue, when you stomp on the gas you get a horrible sulfer smell. Like the car farted. anyway i was wondering if anyone had this issue and if the dealer has a solution. Its not a huge issue, it actually kind of funny. But i would like it fixed to say the least.

This can also depend on which gas u use. did u fill up ur gas w/ a different brand recently?

When I first drove mine hard, it did the same thing. Now, it still does it once in a while. I thought at first it's the car in front me. I use the same gas everytime from the same station. Ron

Must be a Toyota thing. My 05 4Runner had the same recall right after it hit the street.

like others said, try to switch to another brand of gas and see if the same thing exist ?

which brand are you currently using ? I am using Chevron and didnt have that smell........

yes this is true, the IS's on board computer is programmed to respond to insults by its dirvers. The code is called "you fart on my leather, I fart on you".

as for farting in my car i never thought of that......

I have this issue as well, just that not happen that often. It happen when I drive the car hard. I had the same issue with my Harrier(RX330) as well. Even my dad's 7 Seater Toyota Previa has that problem as well...
