I have the same issue with my Sterling interior on my driver's side.

My dealership is just going to replace the entire seat from what I understand. My is around the lumbar area and lower back. Its not wrinkles, but a discoloration in the leather. Like a black -- as if the dye has been worn off.

and please, no fat jokes.
Lexus leather is a bit soft and wears a bit more than harder leathers from what I've noticed. There's always a tradeoff between hard and soft leather. If you keep your leather clean it should help somewhat with the wear and tear. I recommend cleaning the driver's seat with a quality product more often than cleaning the rest of your seats. Basically, more use = more need for cleaning.

my color was also wearing off my seat so the dealership redyed it and put a new pad in the bottom of the seat as mine was deformed from the factory.

My car is an october 05 build too I believe. I was worried about wear and tear issues from the get go since the leather felt a little too soft. I decided to try Lexus leather conditioner and cleaner. I clean the car seat once every month or so. The product doesn't have a strong smell so it keeps the interior smelling almost neutral.
I have to admit that it does work. Not sure however it has restorative affects since the wear on your car has become apparent to you already. I also suggest to try and see if the dealer can do anything for your vehicle is still under warranty. They can at least address the driver's seat.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
