I just replaced my rims with non-TPMS compatible ones yesterday and drove it throughout the day. The TPMS alerts never came on. I had TPMS sensors on both of my previous cars and they all came on within a few miles of driving after changing rims or during the wintertime when pressure was low. These in the IS still have not come on, I checked and drove around again today.

It's typically around 15 to 20 miles before they trip. Then you will get the lovely "Check System" on your main display in the dash where you normally have temp/miles etc displayed. You can change it over to temp by scrolling through, but it only stays up for about 5 seconds before it switches back to Check system again. It's really annoying.

damn, i was really hoping mine was somehow "special" and wouldn't trip! i know that was asking a lot though but hey, they still haven't come on and it's been 2 days and about 20 miles.
It's pretty hard to search for an exact answer but, does anyone know how much each TPMS sensor costs from Lexus and how much to register each one? I plan on selling my OEM rims with the TPMS in there, it doesn't really seem right to take them out and sell the tires and rim package without them.

your cheapest option is to take the ones from your oem rims cuz its already programed to the car. it will cost you close to $500 ($380 sensor and $100+ for programming) for new oem sensors and have them programed to the car. Most people buying the OEM wheels are putting them into older IS or other Lexus' so the the TPMS from the ISx50 is useless to them.
